Money-back guarantee / refund policy (prototype)

Refunds are given by Kobi Ai Tech, First Floor, 41-43 Stockton Road, Sunderland, SR1 3NR, United Kingdom (kobi@kobiai.tech).

The promise

If you do not secure an installation agreement or a government grant, you can claim back subscription fees you paid, subject to the conditions below.

What the promise covers

• Installation agreement means a signed contract with an MCS-certified installer for the installation of the measures in your quote, recorded in your dashboard by an accepted quote or an installation/warranty document.
• Government grant means a Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant confirmed for your property. Only your MCS installer can apply for it; we cannot apply on your behalf.

When you can claim

You can claim at any time while the promise applies — that is, before you accept an installation quote through the dashboard or record installation. The claim window and any time limit are prototype terms and will be finalised with legal review before launch.

How to claim

1. Open your dashboard and press “Claim money-back guarantee” (or email us).
2. The dashboard checks the project record straight away: no accepted quote and no completion/warranty evidence.
3. If eligible, your plan is cancelled immediately and every subscription payment is refunded through Stripe to the original payment method (usually 5–10 working days to appear). Anything that cannot be refunded automatically is passed to our team, and we aim to decide within 14 days.

Token top-ups

An unused top-up pack can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase from the dashboard; its tokens are removed from your balance when you ask. Free tokens and used tokens are not refundable.

Conditions

• The guarantee is not available once you have accepted an installation quote through the dashboard.
• It covers subscription fees only (not installation, finance or third-party costs). Free tokens have no cash value and are not refunded.
• Consumer cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 are separate and unaffected.

Production terms must be reviewed by a solicitor and include the statutory cancellation/refund position in full.
